    Taff, I use Diesel and a brush to remove Waxoyle. Dead quick and easy although a little messy.

        Nice piece of beige there Graham!

        Waxoyl usually stays soft and comes off will parrafine or white spirit etc. It could be a different treatment similar to what I have on mine which has gone hard. Luckily I have not had to remove mine, but it might need a different approach like hot water to soften it up maybe.

              i had one of them exactly the same15 years ago it was rotten as a pear weight it in and got £35 and i ripped him of ,not one thing on it any good

                          got to grips with the servo tower today so i could get to all the inner wing areas with the hot washer, most of the waxoil is off in the engine bay, wevrything came off very easily, the servo and master cylinder are in great condition and just need some pent, will get the engine, box and crossmember out in the week, looks tatty in the pics but no rot anywhere

                            great work there boyo at this rate it will be on the rd before the black beastie ps dont forget NUB will need doing again this winter

                              Just came across this thread Gra. Didnt know you got another lol are you opening a garage? Looks a good one, I had a white 1300 estate t plate years ago, dog food tins now though
