When I got home from Spenceys today there was a parcel waiting, my NOS American spec rear bumper, the difference to the UK is its one big piece of rubber with built in overiders, UK bumpers are 3 piece and hard plastic.

Normally its would be about £250 but theres currently a sale on at Rimmers so it was £125+vat, not sure how many new ones they had left so I decided to have one.

One more job crossed off the list today, had the new windscreen fitted, so glad I didn't attempt this myself with a tube of sealer, took the guys over an hour, cleaning, prepping and priming the glass and car.

TR7's and SD1 Rovers were among the first cars to have bonded screens, have a feeling the stuff the guys used today will be a bit better than the putty that was on the old screen.

Pick my freshly trimmed seats up tomorrow as well, soon be time for an MOT.

I know you like pictures so here you go, there is a black trim to fit over the bottom of the screen then the wipers go on as well.

Saw a nice red TR7 in Kendal Yesterday.........think the first two digits on the reg. were "OO" but that's the last I saw of it

TEG (Towns End Garage) at Warton, just outside Carnforth also have a nice white arched TR8 on Gold Minilites.......looks very "Works".

Will you be taking this to the Lakes ????
