Some updated pictures, Mark has now completed the underfloor and gived a coat of stone chip coating, I will re-paint dove grey when it comes back home.

Rear arches now both fitted, pictures show them skimmed with filler prior to being smoothed for primer, Mark plans on having the car in primer this week before he enjoys a well earned break in sunny Majorca, Paint to go on when he returns, refreshed and ready to go

            DVN201V was my old car!

Part exed her at Mike Youngs in 89 I think for a 16i, main reason was that I had got her so clean I didnt like using daily (should have kept, but would have had to sell sometime, the 16i was sold in 91 for house purchase)

            When were pics taken?

Do you still have her or any other info on her?

                            Hi Carl,
Good username mate surprised that one hadnt already been taken!
Yes very good to see her with some colour, even in primer it makes so much difference. Can see the finishing line now

This week has seen another lot of flatting and priming, now ready for top coats and engine bay and front inners will be first so can put front suspension back on to get mobile for painting body.

Mark pretty sure will be finished this week

Hoping to get it back to my place with headlining and glass in, block will be fitted to crossmember before body lifted onto it prior to body painting so I can fit head and work on rest of assembly myself.

                            Some pics taken,
                            Peter.

Some more pics of progress, engine bay now painted as are door shuts and bonnet/boot undersides.

Doors/bonnet/boot to be re-fitted so shell can be painted and nosecone done.

Hope you are enjoying looking half as much as I am posting

                              Peter.
