    Well got a good shift in again tonight
    Thats all the painting done! .....At least il be able to get the curtains and tarpline off my own car now!

    Heres the pics of tonight...really pleased with how she's turned out...theres a nice white circle going on the doors too for some contrast

    Going to hopefully get the grp4 seat runners in next, brake and fuel lines run inside then windows in soon too

              Got the new Burton full race bvh delivered today!
              Although im having a few days off the auld escorts as im going fishing tomorrow with the usual camping and liquid refreshments

              Tidied up the rs 4spokes again tonight, just finishing touches after them getting re painted. Gave em a good polish etc...looked sweet
              All things goin well both cars the mk1 and my mk2 will have the polycarb window sets fitted on Friday!
              Will get some pics up asap when its done.

                Time for another update....

                The new head got delivered last week, dad was hoping to get the engine and box built up today and fitted although were now waiting on another ring gear ....heres some pics anyhoo

                when my dad was working on the engine I set about fitting the new flaps!

                also got the refurbished wheels on, wipers, grill and circle on doors



                got the grp4 spec runners etc welded in last week aswell

                my mk2 has now got some windows also...although thats about it at the mo! lol

                      Lee: Cheers mate, ino its a bit hectic trying to juggle the two but the mk1 is getting there finally...then il be able to crack on with mine again! lol

                      plentysideways: Thanks mate, were all really pleased with how the paint etc turned out
                      It was that long ago when I got the mudflaps...they were origainally for my mk2 ...im sure we got em from RACE

                      Dads collecting some more gear today,,,full set of nuts etc for minilites, another fuel pump, the correct ring gear lol and some bits for mine also.
                      Hopefully get more pics up again soon.

                        Thats us just in from another few hours after work, started fitting the slider windows into the doors - lookin smart
                        Also cut and prepped some ally brackets for round front and rear screens. Will get em fitted tomorrow as well as finish all the windows

                            Not long in again from a good few hours graft again tonight.... lol
                            Got all the polycarb windows sorted even the slider door ones in, ally plates round screens, new wipers on, ally door cards in and period style boot catches on
                            Hopefully start running brake lines inside car tomorrow night

                              Managed to get home early from work today and made up the brake pipes and ran the line inside car
                              Bled brakes and got a pedal, started fitting fuel tank...should hopefully get that all in and piped up tomorrow with lines inside also.
                              Managed to pick up another set of rims for the old girl from my mate des p...thanks again des was good to catch up with you and see the mk2

                              Anyways heres the pics...

                                Been getting a good bit of work done to the wee mk1 over the past few days and good bit done today....
                                Sat: Tank in, fuel pumps mounted, pipe work run inside...
                                Sun: Battery box mounted, battery cables changed, issolator fitted, spare wheel re-furbed, new ring gear fitted to flywheel, new clutch fitted, gearbox fitted, then engine and box back in car...phew! lol

                                Anyways enough of the chit chat heres the pics for you folks

                                Going to get the exhaust system and manifold in tomorrow as well as, twin 40's and manifold piped up, fit filter king and start sorting out the electrics
