Had to sort a broken wire in the loom first tonight :roll: , the blue wire for the alternator was broken so soldered and rejoined that first then re-taped the loom
Then test fitted the exhaust manifold, joy soon turned to :? as when I tightened up the bolts the manifold was too close to the chassis rail, nothing a bit of heat won't sort though(same with the last manifold I had as well :bash: )

Got a bit more done, just got the exhaust system to fit, finish off the wiring, a few wee other bits and she'll be ready to go

Tip

Looking good martin, one of the things I noticed was the way you have earthed the lumenition. Best to extend the wire and fix it to the main earth on the inner wing.

She lives Fired the Harris engine up for the first time this afternoon
Started very easily, Primed the carbs, 5 pumps on the throttle, did this a couple of times and she burst into life
