You'll be pleased to know I'm almost at the end of my replication effort and for sure will keep a look out for all things escort (including halda's) ;-)

Plumbed in fire extinguisher fitted and tested, the ali pipe was a bit of a bugger as it was really soft and also had to route it around the bonnet stay but I'm pleased with the results. I have 3 nozzles in the engine bay and one in the passenger footwell aimed at the loom/fuse box. Cylinder was a perfect fit behind the drivers seat and control box fits well under the switch console

As I had the seats out while fitting the extiguisher it gave me a perfect opportunity to fit the rear tool holder, I had this made locally and I'm well pleased with the results.

Also had a quick chance a take a pic of both escorts together while moving them around as the RS2000 is now subject a resto and will begin stripping it tomorrow.

Slowly but surely the Roth replica creeps on, had these made this week and if I say so myself they turned out ok, plus far far cheaper than if I was to buy from aldridge

Never said I'd go flat out though, I'll happily trot around at the back

On a roll at the mo, got my finger out today and fitted the roll tops and adjustable track control arms, it has slightly raised the front end though so will decide what to do with ride height later.

Replica looking helmets painted up and got some period holders made, still waiting for the Rothmans script for the helmets but I think they turned out ok (considering they'll never get used)

you"re right as I'm a large and one is medium the other is xl, anyway they were never intended to be worn and once i removed the compliance stickers for painting they were void in the eyes of the law, the rs is still "resting" under it's cover and I"ll get to it eventually
