    thanks guys, all support welcome!!

dont know if it was a brave or crazy move, but I have the 'new' rust free front now safely clamped in place and all measurements and gaps have lined up perfectly. Hope to weld it tomorrow.
I bought a good strong spot welder so hopefully it will make the welding of the flanges as original looking as possible. will put in the new floors and sills next.

    will post more pics asap

    cutting started.....

took the front end off. Have the new inners and bulkhead ready to weld in. Did a test fit and lined up perfectly. had taken a lot of measurements and the new one fits mm perfect. (thanks Darran) I split the a pillars and will spot back as original. Using my own dash,& heater bubble. I used the 'scaffolding' to line up the door restraint eyes and relocate the new front.
dit a bit of patch work on the tunnel before doing the floors.

Its not too bad now, slowly going back together, waiting for a few engine bit so I can fire her up, and must finish off the seat with the covers from Alridge trim, hard to go into the shed on these winter nights!
