          • heres a few pics starting cleaning her but got fed up after about 15 mins so thought about a few pics ,once i get the mot etc will go and see Roddymexico as he's very good at taking pics and i'm shite funnily enough it was Roddy who took the car to the island many many moons ago think the car was nearly new then .still need to polish her up will do that sometime

                  • still not happy with how the car sits have found that standard springs for a 2.8 are about 30 cm which gives -1" due to the bilstein legs but looks awfully low donnt yous think from the floor to the arch lip is about 530 mm and thats with 185x 60 tyres anybody shed some light on this if its right please ,thanks for the comments Andy tenner and bits on there way shortly or do you take paypal

                    • Hi Mate.... mine sat low like that...this time i got std height rs ones, but will have to check on poundage......sit better now...i have a pair of spring, i will check them out for you in the morning..

                      sorted the gauges out, it was the circuit board

                      • thats good andy ,think i sorted the suspension got 8 bags of cement and put them in the boot for a couple of weeks took them out a few nights ago and the car is still sitting level not exactly proffesional but it seems to have worked

                        • well thats the car mot'ed and insurance done just need tax maybe fri and then away we go tester was well impressed with her ,just one query he thought that the propshaft (2 piece )should have a spacer to bring it straight he says its at an angle the now in the middle anybody know what hes on about cheers

                          • Deffo two spacers about 20mm to space brackets from body at centre where the 8mm bolts hold prop mounting from body ,cheers Wullie

                                Hi Iain, This is the best pic I can find which shows the correct hight for the centre bearing. The best way I can describe the spacer is to think of a washer approx 25mm diameter that would fit the centre bearing bolt and picture it as 20mm thick. You need someone to give you the correct dimensions to be on the safe side though.
