It just looks stunning. That's a cracking job and you should be very proud of yourself.......that you have done the car in a small garage and with limited funds.....and it turn out like..... now send me my tenner
still not happy with how the car sits have found that standard springs for a 2.8 are about 30 cm which gives -1" due to the bilstein legs but looks awfully low donnt yous think from the floor to the arch lip is about 530 mm and thats with 185x 60 tyres anybody shed some light on this if its right please ,thanks for the comments Andy tenner and bits on there way shortly or do you take paypal
Hi Mate.... mine sat low like that...this time i got std height rs ones, but will have to check on poundage......sit better now...i have a pair of spring, i will check them out for you in the morning..
thats good andy ,think i sorted the suspension got 8 bags of cement and put them in the boot for a couple of weeks took them out a few nights ago and the car is still sitting level not exactly proffesional but it seems to have worked
well thats the car mot'ed and insurance done just need tax maybe fri and then away we go tester was well impressed with her ,just one query he thought that the propshaft (2 piece )should have a spacer to bring it straight he says its at an angle the now in the middle anybody know what hes on about cheers
thanks willie does anybody have any or any pics of what they look like
Hi Iain, This is the best pic I can find which shows the correct hight for the centre bearing. The best way I can describe the spacer is to think of a washer approx 25mm diameter that would fit the centre bearing bolt and picture it as 20mm thick. You need someone to give you the correct dimensions to be on the safe side though.
