hello , having trouble with photobucket !! cant get the pictures to resize ? so i can post on here ! got loads done on the car so ill try again to get some pictures up .

sorted the photobucket out !! drove me mad and nearly put the pc through the window ! ok onwards and upwards . removed scuttle pannel ! to rusty to repair so got a minter off Darran (Escort Tech ) thanks mate ! its being stripped of paint at the moment , removed nearly all the rust now and replaced with hand made fabricated pieces or replacement pannels ! im really trying to save as much of the original car as possible ! had to replace rear valance . Removed the wings to find a few holes here and there ! so cut out and welded in new metal . Sometimes i cant see the end but i know how nice it will be when finished !! so that keeps me going ! The nosecone went off to be painted last week and ive got most new old parts to go back on . more pics soon ! thanks for looking john

sometimes you cant see the wood for the trees,but it looks like youve put in the graft,the trouble is when you strip em right down you just keep finding bloody holes,found all mine now just gunna weld the buggers keep at it mate shes going to be well worth it .

The old girl !

The old girl has seen alot of action over the years ! and a few people have tampered with her !! but i intend to make sure shes done right and will be a nice example when finished . I know there are some who would say reshell it and probably think its patched up ? but this is restoration and this is how i think it should be done . I will shock you all when its finished

as long as its as you want it ,then thats all that matters!!!!why reshell when you can save it as far as im concerned.and as for the occasional plate you might find a few on mine

thanks for your comments lads ! it makes a difference when i get down in the dumps . And now a little treat for the picture junkies of some nice shiney parts !! whalst we work our socks off getting the shell done ! we also need to find parts , here are some pics of what ive got upto now !! some are new old stock and some are what was on the car that ive cleaned polished and painted ! Got a brand new old stock webasto !! again from Darran (Escort Tech ) enjoy the pics because it took me ages to unpack this lot !
