The shell it has today was prepared by Safety Devices, probably in the early eighties.

It used to run BDA engines before, this is the engine that is going in this time..an BDR 1700 cc with Weber 45´s and 170 bhp.
The gearbox is a ZF S5-18/3 Ford Motorsport specification gearbox
Gartrac FF/TT Atlas with ZF LSD and 5.14 : 1 ratio.
Bilstein adjustable struts with 5" dia. springs. with roller top mounts and alloy GP 4 hubs with AP tarmac ventilated discs
Got a new unused similar setups as well..

Here is it in a winter rally with mr. Valter Chr. Jensen driving.
Started with repairing parts of the inner wings
Welded
Smoothed out the welds
Bulkhead in need of work
Cutting out the weak metal
Adding som fresh steel
Some more
Then some more welding
Then it´s time for the double skinning plate
Welded in and smoothed
Made up a new lip at the bottom of the heater bulge
Welded
Finished
Reinforcements
Close up
Same on the other side
A couple of these specials
Mounted into the shell like this
Connected to one of these, with the other strapped in at the rear..
The shell is airborne for connecting to the roll-jig
