Yes the rumour was that it broke whilst ticking over . Crap idea not having a key way on the bottom pulley though , you would have thought that the bods from cosworth would have sussed that one out by now .

i think you need a heat shield there dont want to burn your paint . good thing the wiring is going the chassis rail !!!! might get the proper manifold ceramic coated to help out a bit....sigpic escorts are blood ,sweat ,tears and welding burns.

I had to fit a head shield to the inner wing of my Mk2 Escort with a 2.3L Duratec as the white paint started to turn yellow and my exhaust manifold is ceramic coated.
What peak torque (rpm) and peak power (rpm) figures did it achieve?

power
at the mo its 250bhp and 193ft/lbs of torque. its not mapped fully yet as just wanted to test it ,proper map will be done in car on the rollers with the proper manifold as the one on the dyno was killing it. theres a lot more to come, i expect about 265bhp and 205 f/lbssigpic escorts are blood ,sweat ,tears and welding burns.
