Finally managed to get a few hours in on the Mex this weekend (her in doors went shopping!!) and finished off stripping the shell down. I'm going to let the bodyshop take the glass out, as if I do it, i'll probably end up breaking the screen!! Bit of rot in the front floor pans, but hopefully i've caught it early enough!! and theres a bit of filler in the O/S/R wing which I knew about, but otherwise it all looks pretty solid. Should be going in for fettling and painting this week.......

how did you get 7.5's under the arches? without sticking out on the back ?

It's had the rear arches rolled flat, standard back axle but the tyres are 175/50's. So far, not had any problems with them catching Brian.

ooh i had one of those air vents in the drivers side floor ,mr jack put mine there for me though , fixed now though.

Also i've just found an unexpected air vent in the passenger footwell which needs sorting as well!!!!

I do hate those pre 80's airconditioning vents let in too much water
