Ah, at last some more recent pics as I've been lazy as per. Put my Brief sunstrip on the car before it was lost in the post for good..... The blotchy pics are the fault of the camera and not how the interior looks!!!!!!!! More to follow as I get the box in this week
I've got a Clarke's one and it has a "U" Leg pattern as opposed to the "T" in the picture.
To tell the truth, it worked ok but I wouldn't bother again. A good space on the workbench, maybe a little wheelie plank like you get in the DIY stores etc. would do me fine in the future if I'm not gonna be doing two engines a month!!!
The big problem is that it takes up loads of space even when you're not using it. It also takes the skin off your ankles when you collide with the base - which a workbench doesn't!
Also, when tightening up to a torque, or stripping down, it's not a great help to have the object on castoring wheels!
Greg, Give me a ring. 07855 521964 I'll be working on the car tomorrow night. Monday 12th. Welcome to come over if you want. Engine stand is a Clarke one. Had it for about 6 years. Worth every penny in my opinion. Bought from Machine Mart.
Looking nice kev , keep the pics coming , and its a real shame about losing the sunstrip , would have loved a copy of that as it looks well good in that pic
