Wheel key?????? Not a hope! Checked the boot of the Jetta.....Sod all!
Had another worry today, Was told this morning by a customer of ours who has a Type 2 split screen camper in the same place that it was broken into over the weekend. Nothing stolen apparrently but still going down there to make sure................. Can't wait till she's safely back in my trusty garage.

It needs to be modified slightly to fit as it has roller tops on and been modified for them. No problem my man tells me CheeRS, Dave.

The scuttle has been cut out and replaced with new metal as there was some pitting.............. (Couldn't see much myself)!

A lad who mainly does VW Beetles and Campers for Bus & Beetle in Nottingham. He was recommended because of the quality of his work and price. Used to work for Jaguar then decided to set up for himself. Can let you have his number if you like. "Tried" him out before with painting and fitting a rear spoiler to my Golf. Looked like it was factory fitted it was that good. Needless to say, He got the job.

A couple of new pics taken today. The whole car is very close to being painted. Need to know off any of you the paint code for the black trim. IE Sills, Rear light surround, Petrol tank, bumpers, mirrors etc.......

Top plate fitted. bit of fettlin' due to roller tops but nicely done.

New scuttle in place and windscreen checked for fitting

Bay rubbed down ready for painting next week.
