I managed to get the escort to castle combe today which I was delighted about!! Was really annoyed today when I found out the shell spent all this weekend outside without a cover on!!! and it had grown a few more patches of rust!! But now its at combe, here is a couple of general pics of it where i'll be working on it. Its hidden away in what is meant to be the machine shop. Oh yea, got the front floor pan in but haven't got any pics yet.

Thats the machine shop!! I'll have some pics of the main workshop on Thursday or summit. One of the other students had a punto in the other day as the head gasket had gone on it, so they sorted that out and wanted to start it but left the rocker cover off and the spray bar!!! as you can imagine when they started to fire it up a 15ft jet of oil spurted up onto the ceiling covering quite a few people....so apart from the oil patch on the roof!! its an immaculate and really good facility.

                                Progress

Right.....having got back into the swing of things after new years and autosport I've had some time to do some more on the escort. I've cut out the old (rusty) outer sill, rust treated and primered the existing bit and tacked in my new inner sill. Should have the new outer sill on next week sometime. Comments and critisisms as usual please
