Chassis is perfect never welded,best you will get
But,, needs rear archs and a few bits doing,,hasn't had major welding in the past,original sills/top plates etc.
Needs door skins,normal escort rust,but not a basket case.
Has a webasto,,,but fitted from new.

Looks a lot better now we have cleaned it!!

It as everything with it I'd say the bits that need replacing are easy to sorce and I even bet Darran can provide them

I get on very well with Darran , and am keen to buy , but times not right . But I have done a few cars over the last couple of years , one of them was a 2 owner , once you strip and blast the shell it's deep pocket time ! Parts / panels etc etc Yes Darren will have some parts ( but he's a rent boy at heart !! lol , Marks the grafter !!! lol ) but good old ebay has made sure parts are crazy prices , and sometimes you land up with more shite as some ebay sellers don't care or know . I know what you mean I have a RS (70000 miles) that had been sat in a garage for over 19 years that also needs a lot of work but all the hard to find bits or on it. I am going to finish my project then sell it to ofund that one as you say DEEP pockets needed.
