gutted for the owner, and as everyone has said, I hope the life low scum are caught. but if they are, what will they be charged with?
        theft of a motor vehicle??
what ever sentence they get (50 hours community service no doubt)!!
will not be enough for the crime committed.
the time, money and effort gone into this car, for some tw*t to take it must be heart breaking, I hope the insurance company value the car appropriately!

maybe we need a sticky at top of main page with pics of stolen cars to keep them fresh in peoples minds, if owners can put up with being constantly reminded of their loss. Perhaps a section in classic ford mags or links in popular ford websites such as traders who use forum to spread news as far as possible and leave stolen bits harder to sell on

What would be nice is if insurance company was to turn round and offer a 10k reward for its safe return.. that would stir up some intrest and save them a fortune too..

what a fantastic car, i drive my mk1 all year round because if you store it away in winter theres still the chance that it will get stolen and all your hard work and money is gone. i think the people who stole this may not even know the true value as how can they pass it on, sorry for Paul hope you get it back.
