I was at the auction in 2010.
Hence when Tim posted the picture, the car instantly looked to be the same one.
How or why it has become a T reg is one question.
The car was stolen only two miles away from me. It has been emphasized that the theives went to great lengths to get at the car.
That's uncomfortably close to home to know Escort thieves are operating in the area.
But the other question I ask myself is, if the P reg number is still taxed what car is it on...????Mark....

Do a Google search for RS2000 stolen Midlands
My theory is the insurance company involved smells a rat so is swampin the net hoping "net nerds" give them information that will allow the insurance company to reject the claim - why else would an insurance company bother with one particular claim in amongst thousands of everyday others ?

This actually puts a different twist on the eBay V5 doesn't. I not suggesting its happening here for one minute but what an easy insurance scam.
Your RS is stolen never to be seen again..... ( because you're the only one who knows where it is) claim the lovely over inflated agreed value insurance, wait 6 months....... Sorry spend 6 months searching for the prefect replacement car..... or do I mean wait whilst original car is being painted in its resplendant new colour that happens to match the lovely eBay logbook purchase)
I don't know why Alan gets so uptight about these eBay actions, what a fantastic idea, I get 25k. keep my car and no one gets hurt. Lovely jubberly.Getting bored with the idiots
