Not looking good for XPC at Cumbria

Took the car out 3 weeks ago and my nice new diff pi**ed oil out from the front pinion seal, took it back to the place where it was done and now he is saying that the seal is no longer available, Just got one off eBay but not looking good for this weekend

It's listed as an NA583 in the Payen gasket catalogue if that's any help.

Any decent motorfactor should be able to get one in for you

I've heard good things about this bloke, so you shold be AOK, speak to Tom Foster (Fossie) on Turbosport and he'll give you some advice on fitting the seal if you have to do it yourself

Seal is still available from Fords at about £12 (I had one a couple of weeks ago) but maybe only one or two left.

mine does that in the mex every year until it's done about 100 miles put it down to the weight of the propshaft making the seal oval when it's sitting over the winter just needs a run to make it round again and it's fine all summer
