graham, wots epynt like for spectating and is it open to the public to view ? - all tarmac yes ? - always fancied going there when an event is on - would make a change from the forests of dyfi, dyfnant and the barren wastelands that are ....... wait for it .................. sweet lamb that we usually go to !!!!! -
myself and brett (orange mex) and a few mates of trolls went to Bont after xmas last year for a thrash - superb few hours once youve learnt the lap - you been there ?
yeah, epynt is awsome, its open to the public and it will take your breath away - stage is live tomorrow at 8.00 pm, pm if you require details, already it caught out quite a few today,
oops, forgot to say yes, its all tarmac, not flat and straight like other places, (see pics below on sig) lots of yumps, brows, adverse cambers, sheep, ahd Big Big drops, some so big your clothes will be out of fashion by the time you get to the bottom of them.
Entry £10 per car if you enter via the dual carriageway, or FOC if you have an ordnance survey map and navigate in lol,
Epynt is @10 miles west of Brecon, 20 miles SE of Hereford
thanks for info matee - definately catch another event if theres one coming up later this year - you know of any ? - where are they usually advertised ? 'motoringsport' news etc, and on t'internet ? - i always thought epynt was military and shut to mere mortals - the thought of the drive from deepest darkest dorset and then to be refused entry was not a pleasant one if you see what i mean - if you could be so kind to forewarn of any more on the horizon, that would be tickety boo
