Hint - Metal plate is 0.9mm thick (NOT load bearing so thickness could be thinner)

Thanks Dave
Serious question - How does the oil feed from the centre cam bearing housing get blocked off - is it just a case of hammering a ball bearing in the hole ?
Cheers Rob.

One way is as follows
Find an old oil spray bar
Cut each side of the cente mount and oil feed hole apprx 1"
Flatten and bend the pipe over to seal ends of pipe
Refit to head
************************************************
Ball bearing is another way but theres no going back to a spray bar with a bearing !
