  • Should I ?

    Question.

Should I fit the orig Group 1 44IDF's to my car or just think of the power and stick with the 48's ?

    Answers on a postcard please.

        cor blimeee mateeeee
you always were the one for bling werent you -
get the thing up and running first then add ur goodies - ok mine only took a month to do but i did have two weeks holiday and dad looking over my shoulder (cant beat 45 years as a proper panel beater)
in answer to your question, i'd go for the 44's and a filter, but as you well know side-draughts will give you good bhp -
        ps. yes to meeting tonite

do you have to carry that tank on a trailer? or does it take up the whole boot and back seat

Go with the Group 1 stuff IMO. 48's do sound the biz though.

I was going to put 44's on mine, but a few people suggested that the pancake filter restricts the power output quite a bit...changing to K&N's kind of negates the point of fitting 44's in my opinion so I'd go for power and sound with the 48's.

Don't know how much truth there is to this...just what I was told when doing some research last year when looking for some.
