      well i hope its a mk1 or 11 mex, & not a mk5 mex....
anyhow i had & still av a early mk5 RS2, the speed bulge one, would'nt entertain a later one...... wishbones nearly every year the known for it ! also check oil regular as the oil light doesn't always work thats also a common fault ! also check under battery might need new battery tray as such, round petrol cap for rot. also get over 80,000 miles the's a good chance you'll be ready for a new head, £378.00 for a new one thats with £100 knocked off for exchanging the old head, but i loved it for a skater, would av another now if i'd got the cash for a minter.... but it is a lovely driver........

        I've driven 2wd & 4wd versions. Take a test drive in a Golf VR6 or 16v.

        I bought a Golf.

        Nuff said.
        Cheers Rob.

                  i think it does aswell

its got every extra possible from fords at the time of the sale
cos it was a ex demo car for a ford main dealer

the service book has all the stamps in aswell with bills to boot

i am thinking that this is one of the best out there....
