it was me who said to kev about running a cam in, well, it was aimed more at cam bearings to be honest, i know you should run at 2-3000 rpm when first started, my concerns were the 6500-7500 rpm that will be experienced when on the rollers having carbs set up, that was where i was getting. i was worried all that money could go to waste if you knackered it early. if i am well wrong then i am sorry kev, but i have no experience here anyway, and you were silly to listen to me in the first place
