A tube of cam lube should have been supplied with the kit - use ALL of it
                    Cheers Rob.

                            https://www.burtonpower.com/technical/tt_camshaft.html

Handy link to camshaft fitting and running in

Burtons recommend Graphogen cam lube ( You'll never use a whole tube of it though )
                            Cheers Rob.

it was me who said to kev about running a cam in, well, it was aimed more at cam bearings to be honest, i know you should run at 2-3000 rpm when first started, my concerns were the 6500-7500 rpm that will be experienced when on the rollers having carbs set up, that was where i was getting. i was worried all that money could go to waste if you knackered it early. if i am well wrong then i am sorry kev, but i have no experience here anyway, and you were silly to listen to me in the first place

Awwwwwww, You had a good point Lee. I didn't know about the 3000rpm for 20 minutes thing. Honked off today as the cam didn't arrive So spent most of the day cleaning after taking it to the DVLA in the rain.
