  • part number reqd

Can anybody tell me the part number of the x pack type bonnet pin fixings, i am of the belief that they are from a US mustang, dont know which version so if you know that as well that would be spot on, i have a family contact in the states who might be able to check with ford dealer over there as to availability.
If that turns up nothing then does anybody have any for sale!

Thanks guys, i will pass this on to my mate, i can only begin to imagine what a scary moment it must be to cut 2 bloody big holes in a good bonnet.
glad its not me having to do it.

They are available from www.restoremustangs.com and the like.

They are called ram air twist locks and come as separate parts, ie the lock itself (M005638), the retainer (M0012945)and the catch to fit to the inner wing (M0012946). (These are the part numbers from RestoreMustangs.com)

They work out at about £200 a pair when you take shipping and tax into account.
          Cheers Rob.
