Gaz,
you'll have fun getting them pulleys back on if the plating is quite thick . Don't be tempted to hit them when putting them on as they are brittle.

Not really a coating as such , just made the metal shine
zinc passivating i think its caled

Plated bolts always seem tough to get back in due to the extra metal. be carefull mate.
