mk2 Mexico in The Sweeney

Was watching an episode called " Trust Red " which features a white mk2 Mexico reg no PNO 599R although its only on screen for about thirty seconds.

DVLA check shows it was a Mex

No making up false plates for the shows if you have a white Mex and telling everyone your car once appeared in The Sweeney!!!!

PNO 599R

Very similar to another white RS in a certain classic cop show.

Yes Doyles RS2000 in the Professionals was of course PNO 641T although this was a false plate.
Its genuine plate was PNO 672R

Doyles car is apparently being restored by the current owner
Does anyone know the owner?

i was always led to believe that the car was stolen off the set 1day....
& there was never any trace of it since !!!!!!!!!!
