What do you guys reckon - have been thinning the fleet out - both Mk1's gone, the 13k GL gone, and now BAY is on the way!
A friend of a friend has shown interest in the Mex (BAY 150T) - I've priced it as £3500 and want to stay firm with the price. Ok, the car will need some work in the future (os arch return just on way out, spare wheel well just starting, small hole under driver's seat x/mem to sill). There may be more to find with a screwdriver! It still has original arches, sills, and inner wings.
Have most (but not all) of the car's history, 110k, mot's and tax discs back to 1984. Even has the Roger Clark Cars numberplates still on it. The car is pretty well much original - have the matching numbers 1600 under the workbench (standard 205 2 litre fitted) and 4 previous owners. There were some pics of it at 2003 National day - where it won 2nd place standard Mex.
Anyway, he has offered 3k flat. I'm sure the car is worth more - but don't want to take the p*ss and ask too much. What do you reckon!
