I was lucky enough to spend New Years eve in Sydney harbour last year, landed in Sydney in the morning from Hong Kong, on our way to New Zealand and it was bril, spent a few days there, sat by the water till midnight drinking and eating, the bridge was superb, having said that watching London last night it did make me feel proud that we can mirror others, seemed really loud and seemed to go on for ages, well done London !!
