Been toying with the idea of ringing a certain local guy recently to ask about his RS2 , as I have just got the wife another motor over Xmas I thought she wouldn't mind too much .
Anyway today I decided to give him a call ,he only lives 4 miles away , he retired from work about 10 years ago and is into his 70's and has kept the RS2 from day one , its a venetian red Custom supplied new by Lakeland Ford in Kendal. He also had until recently a mk1 RS2 which I was offered for not a lot of money but turned down and passed it onto my mate who bought it.
Well the mk2 has been stored for the last 10 years but is regularly maintained and stored properly , is started and given a run out around the estate when conditions allow. As for selling he says not just yet , but now at least he knows I am interested and has my number .
