Hello one and all in this time of CHRISTMAS CHEER!!

Just been back on the computer after some time away and it is amazing how much my new car is causing 'discussion'...

Just a few points:

1. I will be more than happy with it,as when I went out in it there was hardly any turbo lag as I believe in ClInt's ability,else I would not be paying a lot of money for a mk1 Escort (that still needs finishing).

2. I could not care less if it is not the biggest hp escort ever, as it is only going to be a bit of fun.

3. I understend Dingy's point of view, but again I am more than happy with the performance of the car, and over time I may do even more to it.

4. Please stop bloody arguing! :cyclops:

Anyway,before I go I look forward to taking it to a Track Day,which is surely what it is all about?

you will not be disappointed mate, i should know its my old car. The shell is one of the most solid i have ever seen/owned. Its ****ing powerful and fast, extremly well built nearly everything is new. Cost a lot more than it was sold for mate. Was trying to raise the money to buy back but was made redundant. :bom:

Thanks for that, picked it up today, 80 miles no problems at all!

It is VERY fast and the car just needs a bit of tidying up now.

As for the cost, there is no way I could of built one (with this spec) for the money I paid.

Just got to get on with finishing it off now.
