  • Bit of advice

Got the car on e-bay and some guy from southern ireland wants to buy it.
He wants me to meet him at holyhead so he can drive the car back over.
Says he will pay my expenses to take the car to him, just wanted to check that no one has heard any horror stories about doing this?
    Like the nigerian e-mail scam
He seems keen and seems genuine and hes giving me a fair price for it.
    What would you guys do

    Cheers.

Is it just the money for driving up there or for the car and everything?

If it's just expenses and the cars paid for away you go and have a good day out. If it's the whole lot don't go near it.

Next thing you know it'll be a haggle over the price on the quayside then a cheque from a 3rd party, couple of Euros, some Northern bank 20's and a couple of old Punts for the sake of it.

If he dosn't want to throw money away what's he doing buying your MK2? LOL

I sold a car recently through e-bay & took the car half way to meet the guy but he paid £200 into my bank before hand & never haggled but i guess its just your luck

I'm not desparate to sell and the car wont lose any money... So i aint going to bother...
