Deffo going with the dipping

After visiting the classic car show at the NEC this weekend and seeing the shell that SPL had there (was a rotten mini cut in half)
and having a long chat with the chap that owns spl about what happens and what is involved i am deffo going to have the car dipped .

well if its good enough for boyd coddington then its good enough for me

It seems to me that this as got to be the way forward for removing paint and rust from cars

The price is very good too ..well i think it is for what i am getting .

so expect to see some piccies soon of my freshly dipped shell

Had a look at this myself at the NEC. It seems to be not as hard on the car as blasting. Cost approx £500.

cost is £750

That includes the dipping and all the other stuff that they do to the shell, plus having it put in primer , and them coming to my house with a 7.5 ton curtain sider lorry collecting the car and returning it (in the truck to keep it nice and dry)

When its done they send it back on a carrier next day service in 45 gallon drum.LOL

Had a look at this with Gaz on Saturday. Am convinced now that it is the best way to find everything on your shell. Only wish I had known about this when I did mine. Good luck Gaz.
