As far as I understand this workshop is an actual commercial venture for the Hampster, funded from his own pocket as witnessed by him selling a proportion of his personal car and motorcycle collection to finance the premises and wages! I can't imagine having TV people under your feet whilst trying to do car restoration, featuring hours upon hours of tedium to get a panel just right - is going to keep it afloat!
