  • Getting Ready for the NEC.

Been slaving away on the car today. Given her a good clean underneath and finally fitted my new rear number plate and exhaust sytem. (What a git to fit!!!!) Having to rush now though as I wasn't aware that I have to be at the NEC tomorrow and not Friday as planned!!!! (Wife has gone barmy)

Latham's right. Double sided number plate tape. Used to have the fixings but the plate used to sit too low. Now, in correct position

Andrew, Use Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care on the spoiler. Was very smoothe and shiny to start with so no probs keeping it that way.

Have tried tons of cleaning products over the years....(Used to be addicted to every "NEW" Wonder polish etc) Have settled with Auto Glym as A) I get it from work so it's dead cheap!!!!
                    B) I'm just too lazy nowadays to try anything else!!!

Very disappointed with the final preparation of the car ''the boot lid dosn't fit straight at passenger side"
Polishing it won't make any difference.

Only Jokeing youv'e got a nice motor there ,wish I had a car half as well sorted.

                          Hi Kev,

Just finished a string of gigs in the North West area. Not out again til 25 Nov

Stranglers & SLF play Rock City together in December if you don't know, I think it's a "punk" day.

Skids. For some reason there are a lot of MK2's that have the boot sit like that. (Many from here) Dunno why it does but, it does.

Use Zymöl Royale for polishing - can't beat it.

It's pricey at £5820.00 but you get it refilled for life.
