        Cloth

Ricky remember the conversation on Sunday LOL

I think a lot of people have under estimated the demand and hence value of many parts for our cars. I for one have sold 15 years worth of parts in just a few months. (Only 5% if that on Ebay)

IMO the price off cars will keep rising. I personally thought the high prices would have peaked by now but looks like I was wrong.

I suppose its a basic case of supply and demand.

        CheeRS,

        Joe.

madness whoopdeedoo if its original, you could buy a better material for a lot less, save your cash, and buy something non standard and spend the cash youve saved on a straight cut

Not really, it's just a matter of perspective. I know a fair few people who would not think twice about blowing thousands on engines, gearboxes axles, suspension setups to achieve what they want.....

Well, this is what I want so I would beg to differ that I am INSANE !

                    Dude, theres originality and lunacy.

For that money you could buy something that would improve your driving experience.

Which, after all, is what owning a nice old Ford is all about.

Oh dear. The original cloth subject will always be a difficult one. There are some people who (like me) want their interior to be original with said cloth and then there's other people like the 2 here who don't really care about who has what cloth etc. Both are right IMO. An original car will always be more desireable to a perspective buyer who wants an RS the way Ford intended it to be. These cars are now becomming very few and far between. The people who are looking for non standard modified cars, be they RS or not are not so bothered about this as their intentions are inclined towards performance and aesthetics and not originality. So, Both are right.

If what your heart desires is original cloth then why not have it.

I see no reason to criticise Arrons' motives or intentions.

I don't see anyone saying that a straight cut 'box or a set of 45 DCOEs is a massive unwarranted expense.

Just because two indivduals care to comment upon what they consider to be crazy prices should not lead this discussion into the rights and wrongs of other peoples business.

                        Ithangewe.
                        Cheers Rob.

Look at it this way if you have spent years and lots of money getting your car the way you want it ,only to be let down by shabby seats ,then beta cloth comes up for sale ,you have to buy it to complete the perfect picture
                            Some like perfection
                            Some like performance
Its just personal choice and what you can or cant afford
