OK folks, who is interested in an Escort only class within the MSVR/ Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship?
Early days yet, and too late for this year, but a possibility for the 2019 Season.
No Millingtons / Vauxhalls/ YBs / Duratecs or cars with sequential boxes, they are already catered for and can be highly competitive overall.
If you have a "modern spec" car there are plenty of places to play. Ditto if you have a truly historic spec car.
Regs have not been discussed yet, but looking at regs that encourages Mk1 or Mk2 8v Pinto or Crossflow engines only, 4 or 5 speed h pattern boxes, disc or drum brakes and 4 or 5 linked axles etc so that they can compete within their own class and not be outclassed, or require a fortune to be spent to turn them in to something either modern, or truly historic.
The MSVR / MSN series are interested for 2019 if they can get a minimum of 4 cars out regularly.

Come on, there must be a fair few Pinto/Crossflow rally cars out there in garages at the moment that are not being used. This is the chance!
