Rolltops

I have a pair of mk2 escort rolltop seats that need retrimming,,is the top bolster available the one with the chunk missing,, i did speak to alldridge trimming but they wasnt to helpfull

I don't think you can get that foam.

Aldridge only offer the foams for the seat base, not the backrest. On the ASS/Scheel seats, the foams are formed around the frame, those seats are a right bastard to work on compared to the Recaros…

I emailed a pic to aldridge and they said the same as you but they can rebuild/repair it and labour is £35 an hour,, which cheered me up as i was thinking i might of wasted £800

I bought a new unused ASS seat backrest and cut the foams off the frame, only cost me about 50-60 euros so not too bad.
