Blue Wheels

Looking for opinions as to if I should use my blue wheels on the four door

Or shall I use the silver ones

Thats not my car Leon ,,Just a photo I found ,,,,Cant decide as to Lazer (RS Copies), I also have a set of blue and a set silver minilte type wheels and cant decide which ones ,,

Blue on the back, Silver on the front and a laser alloy as the spare.

Don't think the blue look as good as the wheels that you have on now if not silver minilights always look nice

When I fitted longer studs for my 7” minilites I then had a problem when I wanted to put my RS alloys on because the longer studs weren’t threaded down far enough and the RS wheel nuts nipped up on the unthreaded bit before they were nipping the wheel. Or it might have been the other way round, I ended up having to drill out with a 13 mm drill taking out the first 5 mm of threads in the nut to get it to screw down the stud far enough. I ended up ****ing about for ages getting the studs just the right length to be able to fit both wheels and have enough thread engagement to feel safe.

It didn’t used to be a problem with the old style minilites that had nuts similar to RS alloys but the ones nowadays have tapered seats.

Stuff that aggro - I think i'd have drilled out / milled the seats of the minilites so the RS tube nuts would fit both!
