what do you lot think? my mot runs out 18 april,new rules i dont need mot after 1 may which is 2 weeks later./so do i leave and dont use car,sorn it for 2 weeks or mot for 2 weeks which is dumb.

Does it have more than 15% modifications ?

Who decides if it has or has not +15% modifications ?

Will your insurance "require" an MOT irrespective of MOT rules ?

Do MOT Testers know what is going on ? - I can answer this one - NO WE DONT - lol lol lol

I'm also tester, not had any special notice through yet regarding changes,
I build and mot my own stuff and will always mot it for peace of mind

My car will be MoT'd every year regardless of age, as said above, another pair of eyes checking.

That is still an accepted method if the tester has the correct test equipment in the car!

Like Katana says That's how we still test all 4 wheel drive cars Phil £100,000 range rovers down the road 20 mph and hit the brakes !!!! Crazy in this day and age but the decelomenter is still in use
