Are Escorts reached the stage where they are pricing themselves out of the market ?

When you look at the price of mk2 escorts on the kgf classic car site you would think there are a lot of better alternatives on offer than a mk2 like 205 gtis Renault 5 turbo more powerful cars than a standard mk1 or mk2 rs2000 but when I drive my rs everybody gives me the thumbs up and let's me out of junctions to have a better look at it and that's priceless in my opinion

you can say that about most models of car tho ...not just escorts ...all classic cars have gone up in value ...look at the price of VW etc hardly the most exillerating thing going ...but it's got a cult following...hence the price rise...I don't disagree with £40k now for an escort ...thats the hassle price, because selling an escort now just brings out that buyer now

I would like an Audi ur or rr Quattro or a Lancia delta s2 but they are even more ridicously priced the most worrying thing I've noticed this show season is there has been hardly any mk1 or mk2 rs2000s because they have fallen into the hands of investors who have no interest in car shows
