Douglas, thanks for the reply. I will get in touch with the QOC and try and find out more, but my understanding is that the OEM fit on all quattro turbo coupes was 215/50/15. I do know that some people have tried 225s but there have been mixed results - some people are fine and some experience body fouling issues. The feeling is that the cars were largely hand assembled and that no 2 cars are exactly the same, leading to some tyre fit issues with 225s.
The tyres may end up being expensive, but better than have no tyres!
