My mate has just purchase this it's only done 48,000 miles and 4 owners but doesn't have much history with the car.

Does anybody have any information on the car?

Very nice looking example , has it been restored ? Nice to see a pre custom for a change . 👍

It hasn't been restored but I think the late type nosecone is wrong for it's age.
The previous owner was 80 and had to give up driving.
The car is going to be used for film and TV work.

Just had another look at the car and apparently august 77 was the change over from the early nose cone to the Ford oval nose cone.
But some car august cars had Ford letters on the boot and the later ford oval on the front.
