small hole and selftapping screw/or small hole in top of lamp then put a 3-4mm nut and bolt, thats how I did it when rallying years ago, but not the prettiest way, steadies look so much nicer and professional

Finaly Had chance to get outside and have a play with the car. starded looking at were to put the brackets and lights, and a question has arisen
Were the top lip of the bracket will be mounted
there doesn't apear to be any room between the bottom of the grill the the front panel, and there is no vertical adjustment in the mounts for the grill. is this normal? if so isthere a way round it other than chopping up the grill? (out of the quastion )

There should be enough room for the lamp brackets between your grille and front panel. The location of the brackets are by the front bumper bolt which attaches to the bracket (If using original style brackets) If using the Alloy quick release ones then they need to go to the edge of the bumper bracket hole. Hope this helps.

Well Several hours later and a little bit of cursing all is now well.
didn't have to chop the grill in the end. there was just enough flex in it to get all the crews in. Just need to get the steadies sorted and get the dodgy alternator sorted
