Just curious to see what peeps opinions on the prices of the four door?

Looking at the market 4 to 5 k will buy a decent example but some full restore cars are bringing 6 to 7 k
I paid 4500 for my 4 door and a few repairs and bear metal spray cost 2500, still need to do bits to engine ,,wheels and tyres and refurb the interior so by the finish could be touching 10k for my full restore
Doubt if I would recoup my costs if I sold itsigpic

I ran 1100/1300 regular Escorts back in the 80's when they were 600 quid, and I didn't think they were very good. Averagely alrightish but nothing special. 1600 Sports were okay.

they're a bit like premier league football players at the moment as in the average specimen seems to cost a fortune, the problem being is that cordoba beige 4 door sold (allegedly) for near £20k so lots of peeps think that there car has doubled or even trebled in value over night,
