It looks like Photobucket have put a limit on the amount of pictures that any one user can post to third party sites. Once you reach the limit you have to pay. That may account for some people still being able to post, they haven't reached the limit yet.
Just a thought.

that would sound right, all my photos are still there. maybe the next time I use PB it might trigger something and delete all

To get you PB pictures to seen you need to add ~original to your picture url, see bellow

Click on your pic, click the right facing arrow & a box will appear. Choose BB Code then copy & paste. Piece of pish.
