Lakes tour 2017
Sadly this will be the last Lakes tour to be held at the Heaves, we have however Hired a marquee this year along with the caterers that will be open for the whole week end. There will also be a bar open Friday / Saturday evening and lunch time Sunday
Camping
Please park on the right hand side and sign in at the entry marquee before you set up camp.
Please keep the camping area clean and tidy at all times - bins bags will be provided in the marquee. No open fires!! We have provided a 4 berth trailer shower block this year 2 male 2 female - could you please make sure the cubical you have used is left as you would like to find it.
All trailers must be parked in the trailer park. All cars must be unloaded on the right hand side of the driveway.
Any vehicles left overnight on Saturday PLEASE LET US KNOW !!
and we can advise you as to where to park them.
Please make sure you have no less that half a tank of fuel when you start the tour as there is only too fuel stops on the whole route.
Please make sure you top up on fuel.
Lakes tour Saturday Morning.
Complementary coffee/tea and biscuits will be served in the Lakes Tour marquee from 7.30am. There will be no official coffee stop on the tour this year as in previous tours - due to the high number participants it has now become an impossible task to find a venue in the Lakes to accommodate and park all the cars and provide coffee for you all in the space of one hour!
We will be starting the tour from 8.30am and we will set you off 10-20 cars at a time, at intervals of ten minutes. You can go by the sound of the horn!! THIS COULD TAKE SOME TIME !!
On your return to the Heaves after competing this years tour could you park on the right hand side of the driveway where finishers plates will be given out to you, and your Lakes tour meal will be available.
The Lakes Tour is a none spectator event.
