If you are there you will have a list of cars you can jump in and do the tour as a passenger , you might get a ride out from someone mate be positive thoughts
Get up to the lakes , pitch the tent open some beers and enjoy make good from nothing , staying in the house will do nothing mate And you will miss out its that simple .

[QUOTE=Frosticles;730896]Kelvin, I am experiencing the very same on a particular Porsche Forum that I am using. Have asked a few questions but mostly ignored. Does it affect me, Does it bother/upset me? Nope. See, It's not just you or this forum. I will persist though as I find it a challenge. It is, unfortunately, a fact of life. Everything if you look at it hard enough can seem cliquey. Car clubs, Forums, Sports Clubs. I could go on all night. You just have to wade in
With every club etc, you have to make the effort. People just don't become your best mates overnight.
The "Banter (Crap)" that you called it has been a big part of this forum since it started (& before) Some people get involved. Some don't. It their choice. Bit like a TV really. If you don't like the program then switch over to something else. That's not being harsh either. Just a fact of life.
Everyone here has always been very welcoming. Just don't take it to heart when someone pulls a moonie at you

I don't necessarily want to start going to meets, but just converse from here. A few questions, but I've also a build thread to be revived, so it's not all 'one way'.
I see there was a lot of posts about being in 'cliques' which was treated as a joke by many, but it actually does seem like that as well, again speaking as a newbie/outsider. Maybe long term members don't see it that way, but believe me, from my position it really does come across that way.
Anyway, I guess I'll get responded to with more 'mooning' smilies, just thought a bit of feedback about perhaps why it's getting quiet on here might be useful for whoever runs this forum.
I'm relatively new on here compared to some and, like you, I felt I a certain 'clique' effect and i stated so a long time ago.
Since then I've come to realize, it's not an intentional 'I'm only speaking to people who've been on here since it started' attitude by the older members, but more human nature and no harm is meant or intended.
Hence I've now changed tact and decided if you can't beat join em. So have started to make a joke of it and laugh about it.
To that end I'm hoping to be Ches's and Frostie's best mate one day so I to can be a 'Clique' member!!
