Hi Rob, Back in 1974 I bought my first Escort Sport because it was a Ford, it looked good, I loved driving it, and never did my friends ever come into my decision, in fact they ran Allegros, 120Y's, MGB's, Celicas, and Fiestas and could not be bothered about my Escort really! I still love my Escort today, because it reminds me of the good old days, when I was 25 years old, my family, my friends, the music, so nothing else comes anywhere near! If I started to worry about some of the people connected with Escorts these days then I would have swapped my car to join the MGB cloth cap brigade many years ago! So chill out my friend , and think carefully about what you are doing before you regret parting with them! I wish you the best for your future!
